Kathleen Henrietta Baird, a resident of Sag Harbor for 31 years, died on April 8 at the Hamptons Care Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton. She was 83.
Born August 6, 1924, in St. George’s, Granada, West Indies to Elfreda ?Edwards and Egbert Baird, she worked as an office manager until her retirement.
She is survived by two daughters, Bernadette Church of East Hampton and Tracy Yarbrough of Texas; two sons, Trevor Baird of Sag Harbor and Reginald Baird of Maine; two sisters, Esther and Edith Edwards of Florida; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on April 12 at Christ Episcopal Church in Sag Harbor, followed by interment at Sag Harbor’s Oakland Cemetery.
