Michael Oliver Mulholland of Springs died on May 5 at his home. He was 88.
Born May 26, 1920, in Tubbercurry, County Sligo, Ireland, to Bridgit (née Gallagher) and James Mulholland, he worked as a carpenter with the Carpenters Local Union 608 until his retirement 16 years ago, when he moved from Yonkers to Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Mona (née Pryal) Mulholland of Springs; three sons, Michael P. Mulholland of Dix Hills; John P. Mulholland of Staten Island; and Victor N. Mulholland of Hicksville; a sister, Vera Stephenn of England; and two grandchildren, Shawn Mulholland and William C. Mulholland.
He was predeceased by four sisters, May Mulholland, Joan Mulholland, Betty Mulholland and Rita Thomas; and three brothers, Peter Mulholland, John Mulholland and Eammon Mulholland.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Church in East Hampton followed by interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton.
