The East Hampton Library’s new pop-up exhibit series, "A Sneak Peek Inside the Long Island Collection" kicks off on March 28th from 4-7 pm. This informal event encourages visitors to learn and explore items in the Collection.
The exhibit will feature the rarely seen photographs that can't be reproduced from the Men’s Lives Photo Archive/Long Island Fishermen Project; along with oral histories from the Maritime Folklife Oral History Collection; and items from the East Hampton Town Baymen's Association files. Additionally, videos from the LTV Archive focusing on Men's Lives, the Striped Bass protests, and the Baymen's Association will also be included.
This pop-up exhibit can only be seen between 4 and 7 pm on March 28th, in the Long Island Collection. No registration is required.
