Eleven years ago I walk into a Hamptons bar called Stephen Talkhouse and meet a 6’ 4”, 40ish, NYC comedian named Aaron rattling off sarcastic one liners to a small audience that left a “big impression". Last week, on Juneteenth 2024 wander into the hot spot Rosie’s Amagansett and immediately love 2 darn good paintings signed Monet. Am told they are by "Aaron". All these years of listening to his hilarious jokes, never knew Monet was a painter.
