Atlantic Marine Conservation Society biologists introduce participants to the wonderful world of seals we see here in New York, via Zoom. This program will review the family of pinnipeds (seals) and provide insight on when and where seals come to New York. Participants will learn about the environment seals inhabit and the natural or human threats they face. By the end of the lecture, participants will be able to take the concepts learned and apply them in their environment to help protect the seals of New York.
