Muse in the Harbor by chef Matthew Guiffrida is opening in the former JLX Bistro space on Main Street in Sag Harbor on Thursday, March 1.
Mr. Guiffrida is also the owner of Muse Restaurant & Aquatic Lounge in Water Mill. Muse in the Harbor will feature a New American menu, with old Muse favorites and new creative dishes from pastas to seafood. Appetizers are priced from $8 to $18, entrées from $19 to $38 and desserts for $8. Customized vegetarian and vegan options will also be served.

Hamptons Restaurant Week returns to area restaurants from Sunday, March 18, through Sunday, March 25. During Hamptons Restaurant Week, participating restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe menus for $19.95 or $24.95, or both $19.95 and $24.95. The discounted menus will be available every night the restaurant is open, except Saturday when it will be offered only until 7 p.m.
East-of-the-canal participants thus far include: Bobby Van’s and Almond Restaurant and Bar in Bridgehampton; Fresno, Nick & Toni’s, 1770 House, and The Living Room c/o The Maidstone in East Hampton; Gulf Coast Kitchen at the Montauk Yacht Club Resort & Marina, and the Sea Grille at Gurney’s Inn in Montauk; Il Capuccino in Sag Harbor; and little|red, red|bar brasserie, Shippy’s Pumpernickel East Restaurant, Southampton Publick House, and The Coast Grill in Southampton.
West-of-the-canal participants include: The Patio in Westhampton Beach; Casa Basso in Westhampton; Edgewater Restaurant, Rumba, Squiretown Restaurant and Bar, and Villa Tuscano in Hampton Bays; and Docker’s Waterside Restaurant & Marina, and Stone Creek Inn in East Quogue.

David Loewenberg and executive chef Sam McCleland will open The Anchor in the former Oasis site on Noyac road in Noyac/Sag Harbor in May.
The waterfront restaurant will offer a year-round seafood and New American menu.
Mr. Loewenberg and Mr. McCleland are partners in Sag Harbor’s The Beacon as well. Mr. Loewenberg is also co-owner with Kirk Basnight of Southampton’s little|red and red|bar brasserie, and co-owner with Michael Nolan of East Hampton’s Fresno.
