Foodstuffs: You'll Love These Valentine's Day Specials On The East End

East Hampton

1770 House (143 Main Street, 631-324-1770, 1770house.com) will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a dine-in $95 three-course prix fixe menu and take-out a la carte menu. For overnight guests staying at the inn, a 15 percent discount on winter stays is offered from Sunday, February 13, through Thursday, February 17.

Prix fixe appetizers include spicy tuna tartare, Yennicott (North Fork) oysters, local sea scallop with winter truffle, roasted beets and pomelo salad, and seared Hudson Valley foie gras. Entrée selections include signature local swordfish, house-made fettuccine with lobster, filet mignon with bearnaise sauce, and Australian lamb chops. Among Chef Michael Rozzi’s dessert selections on the night will be a 1770 House favorite — sticky date cake with toffee sauce and salted caramel gelato.

Highway Restaurant & Bar (290 Montauk Highway, 631-527-5372, highwayrestaurant.com,) is offering Asian specials for couples this Valentine’s Day, available Friday, February 10, to Sunday, February 13, alongside an Asian take-out package for those looking to celebrate at home. For $180 per takeaway package (serves two people), guests can enjoy crispy duck, chicken and cabbage dumplings, papaya and crab salad, spicy tuna tartare, peanut noodles, Thai chicken stir fry and bok choy.

Nick & Toni’s (136 North Main Street, 631-324-3550, nickandtonis.com) will offer a special prix fixe menu for Valentine’s Day on Monday, February 14, including three courses for $100 per person.

Bridgehampton

Almond (1 Ocean Road, 631-537-5665, almondrestaurant.com) will offer a special menu in honor of Valentine’s Day, on Monday, February 14. The four-course “Shades of Red” menu will be $90 per person and will be the only menu available on Valentine’s Day.

The Bridgehampton Inn (2266 Montauk Highway, 631-537-3660, loavesandfishes.us) will feature a menu during the month of February that celebrates the New Year and its culinary team in house.

Elaia Estiatorio (95 School Street, 631-613-6469, elaiaestiatorio.com) offers its daily $1 oyster happy hour for Valentine’s Day featuring locally-sourced, fresh oysters. For a more intimate and elevated experience, the restaurant is offering its $39 prix fixe menu featuring appetizer, entree and dessert.

Sag Harbor

The American Hotel (49 Main Street, 631-725-3535, theamericanhotel.com) is offering a special prix fixe menu for Valentine’s Day on Monday, February 14, of three courses for $95 per person, supplemented by its world-renowned wine list. Reservations are recommended. Rooms are available at the hotel from $220 per night.

Baron’s Cove (31 West Water Street, 844-227-6672, caperesorts.com/barons-cove,) is cooking up a special three-course Valentine’s Day prix fixe dinner for $85 per person, available Friday, February 11, through Monday, February 14. Dishes include seared foie gras with pistachio crumble, smoked spinach and ricotta ravioli, peppercorn crusted New York strip steak, seared local tuna and more.

Il Capuccino Ristorante (30 Madison Street, 631-725-2747, ilcaps.com) will open at 5 p.m. for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner.

K Pasa (2 Main Street, 631-800-8226, 1-800-taco.com) is celebrating Valentine’s Day with tacos for lovers, offering traditional meats, elegant seafood and even plant-based style tacos. Wash away any heartbreak with the signature Pasa-Rita and for lovebirds that can make it through to dessert, warm the heart with a decadent chocolate tres leches cake. Dine-in or order take-out.

Lulu Kitchen (126 Main Street, 631-725-0900, lulusagharbor.com,) will be open Valentine’s weekend offering their regular a la carte menu with a special holiday dessert for two — chocolate soufflé with strawberry creme anglaise.

MTK Lobster House (29 Main Street, 631-808-3639, mtklobsterhouse.com) will reopen for the 2022 season on Friday, February 11, and will offer a special $45 prix fixe menu for Valentine’s Day weekend. The menu will be available Friday, February 11, through Monday, February 14, and includes an appetizer, entrée and choice of selected glass of wine or warm chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream. The regular a la carte menu will also be available. Reservations are recommended.

Sen (23 Main Street, 631-725-1774, senrestaurant.com) will offer a special weekend Valentine’s dinner from Saturday through Monday, February 12 to 14. The five-course menu, including two shared plates, is paired with local wines for $75 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Southampton

Lobster Roll (32 Montauk Highway, 631-283-3464, lobsterroll.com) is offering its new elevated dinner menu at its new location, with options like scampi-style shrimp, filet of flounder and char-broiled black angus shell steak. Also available for at home dining is the hot and cold lobster roll kits, available for nationwide shipping this Valentine’s Day. The kits feature a pound of lobster meat, two jars of mayonnaise, a special seasoning packet, butter, New England-style split-top rolls and lemon, along with step-by-step instructions for making and assembling the lobster rolls at home. The lobster roll kits retail for $129 each, not including shipping.

Manna at Lobster Inn (5 Inlet Road West, 631-728 – 5555, mannarestaurant.com) will offer a special sweetheart menu in honor of Valentine’s Day all weekend, from February 12 to 14. The three course menu includes a glass of Altaneve prosecco and is $60 per person. On the menu is a seafood lover tower, fluke crudo, crab fritter or halloumi shawarma for starters, lobster mac n’ cheese, filet mignon medallions or wild mushroom risotto for a main, and for dessert, chocolate covered strawberries or chocolate budino.

Southampton Village

Clamman Seafood Market (235 North Sea Road, 631-283-6669, clamman.com) will offer a take-out only special Valentine’s Day menu plus sweetheart specials.

Le Chef (75 Jobs Lane, 631-283-8581, lechefbistro.com) will serve dinner from 4 p.m. to close, Tuesday through Saturday, with special menu selections planned for Valentine’s weekend.

Main Prospect (15 Prospect Street, 631-353-3156, mainprospectsh.com,) will serve a Valentine’s Day dinner starting at 5 p.m., featuring dessert specials, a live piano and bass.

The Plaza Café (61 Hill Street, 631-283-9323, plazacafesouthampton.com,) will be offering a special Valentine’s Day menu. Reservations are suggested.

Paul’s Italian Restaurant (21 Hill Street, 631-283-1861, paulsitalianrestaurant.com, will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a number of specials beginning at 4 p.m. Couples receive the first round on the house (a glass of wine or tap beer), with an entree order guests will enjoy a complimentary dessert for two.

Shippy’s (36 Windmill Lane, 631-283-0007, shippyspumpernickels.com) will serve Valentine’s Day dinner, including lobster, steaks and blackboard specials.

Southampton Publick House (62 Jobs Lane, 631-283-2800, publick.com) is offering a $34.95 prix fixe dinner Friday through Sunday nights, featuring $10 OFF all bottles of wine.

Hampton Bays

Gators (6 West Montauk Highway, 631-728-4100, gatorshb.com) will be open on Valentine’s Day, Monday, February 14, at 3 p.m. for dinner.

Sunday’s On The Bay (369 Dune Road, 631-728-2611, sundaysonthebayrestaurant.com) will offer guests a $60, three-course prix fixe menu, Friday, February 11, through Monday, February 14, in honor of the holiday weekend. Reservations are being accepted.

East Quogue

New Moon Café (524 Montauk Hwy, 631-653-4042, newmooncafeeq.com) is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a three-course dinner for two, including two glasses of Prosecco for $75 per couple (plus tax and gratuity). Call the restaurant for reservations.

Riverhead

Dark Horse Restaurant (1 East Main Street, 631-727-7606, darkhorserestaurant.com) is offering a $70 per person, six-course Valentine’s Day Chef’s tasting menu. The menu features Chef David’s Asian, Mediterranean and French culinary background. A $35 wine pairing is also available, as is the regular menu. The special menu will be available Friday through Monday, over the Valentine’s Day weekend.

Farm Country Kitchen (513 West Main Street in Riverhead, 631-369-6311, farmcountrykitchen.com) will offer a $35 per person prix fixe dinner throughout Valentine’s Day weekend, including a number of appetizers and entrees.

North Fork

Alpina in Greenport (45 Front Street, 631-477-2600, alpinany.com) will offer a $65 per person prix fixe dinner and optional wine pairing highlighting the restaurant’s handmade pasta and local duck, crafted by Chef George Musho.

A Mano in Mattitcuk (13550 Main Road, 631-298-4800, amanorestaurant.com), will offer a $60 per person, three-course prix fixe meal with options like a roasted beet salad as an appetizer, burrata ravioli for a main course and the pear and cranberry crisp with vanilla ice cream for dessert. There will be a full menu of items to pick from and a glass of prosecco is included with the meal.

Anker in Greenport (47 Front Street, 631-477-1300, ankerny.com) has partnered with Macari Vineyards to create an accessible $65 per person tasting menu with optional wine pairings, starring some of the local seafood the restaurant specializes in cooking.

Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck (240 Love Lane, 631-298-8989, lovelanekitchen.com) will offer Valentine’s Day specials all day. Breakfast is served until 2 p.m., lunch until 4 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Dinner reservations are recommended.

North Fork Table & Inn in Southold (57225 Main Road, 631-765 0177, northforktableandinn.com) is offering a special Valentine’s Day menu for $165 per person which includes locally-sourced dishes such as a “Two-Mile Salad” (baby beet, goat cheese snow, mulled cabernet wine, pine nuts), a North Fork roulade (monkfish sausage, wakame, herb bouquet), peppered filet mignon and butter-poached lobster and a chocolate souffle. For those looking to celebrate in the comfort of their own homes, a ‘Love on the Go’ four-course takeaway dinner for two is available for preorder online with pick up between Friday, February 11, and Monday, February 14.

Windamere in Mattituck (2255 Wickham Avenue, 631-315-5252, windamerenofo.com) will offer a $70 three-course prix fixe dinner menu on Saturday, February 12, and Sunday, February 13, as well as a Valentine’s Day brunch on Sunday, February 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
