Farm Spots Available

authorDawn Watson on May 5, 2013

The 2013 growing season has officially started at Balsam Farms in Amagansett and shares in the community supported agriculture (CSA) program are now available.

Balsam Farms offers four different CSA membership shares, running from May 31 through November 22. Interested farmers can join for the amount of time that works best for them.

This year, in addition to the weekly fresh produce, there are five new add-on options. Balsam Farms has partnered up to offer: Fresh flowers and prepared foods (soups, pestos, salsas, pickles, etc.) from Balsam Farms, fruit from The Milk Pail and Briermere Farms, cheese from Mecox Bay Dairy and mozzarella from Villa Italian Specialties. These options may be added on to any CSA membership.

For additional information, visit balsamfarms.com.
