Bryan Midlam has jumped from Corcoran to Compass. The 34-year-old has 10 years of experience and was among the top 1 percent of NRT’s national network of 45,000 agents, according to a press release from Compass.

NRT is the largest real estate brokerage in the country—an umbrella company that encompasses brokerages including Corcoran, Sotheby's International Realty and Coldwell Banker.

“I think what Compass is building here in the Hamptons, and across the country, is truly remarkable and changing the industry for the better, Mr. Midlam said in the release."There is so much agent support here and the technology makes me so much more effective and efficient—this is how real estate should be done.”

Compass currently has offices on the East End at 2405 Main Street in Bridgehampton and 84 Main Street in Sag Harbor. The company plans to open two more offices, at 53 Main Street in East Hampton and at 30 Nugent Street in Southampton, in early 2016.
