A modern farmhouse in Bridgehampton built in 2016 on 1.3 acres recently sold for $9.7 million, according to The Real Estate Report, Inc.

At 9 Cody Way, the professionally decorated 10,000-square-foot residence with custom millwork and finishes has eight bedrooms and three levels of living space.

The double-height entry with a 22-foot window is full of natural light and leads into a 20-foot-by-20-foot great room with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace. The great room adjoins an open dining area with an ultra-modern kitchen with European-inspired cabinetry, a large center island with seating, marble counters and professional appliances. There is an additional prep kitchen as well.

Also on the main level, a 20-foot-by-20-foot living room has a fireplace, custom shelving, seating and a large-screen television.

“Special weekend guests will feel fortunate to have their own expansive ground level master suite with sitting room, expansive bath offering dual vanities, tub, shower and access to the covered porch,” the listing states.

Upstairs, the master suite has a sleeping chamber, two walk-in closets and a private terrace with views of the grounds and the adjacent preserved farm fields. The master bath offers dual vanities, a steam shower and a large tub.

Four additional guest suites and a playroom complete the upper level.

The finished lower level with patios on both sides offers 3,000 square feet of living space, including a home theater, a recreational room, a gym and two bedrooms with their own bathrooms.

Home automation includes all lighting, shades, draperies, audio/visual, thermostats and pool equipment. Also among the amenities are a two-car garage with a Tesla charger, covered and uncovered patios, an outdoor kitchen, a 20-foot-by-50-foot pool, and a sunken Har-Tru tennis court set within custom stonework.

The pool house has a kitchen, a wet bar, a sitting room and a full bathroom, with an outdoor shower and fireplace.

The grounds feature a bocce court and playground among professionally designed landscaping and expansive lawn.

The deal closed on October 2. The seller was Coppelia Rose Farmland LLC and the new owner is Nine Cody Way LLC. Gary DePersia of Corcoran had the listing.

In the past, the estate has been offered at $160,000 for a two-week rental.
