A farmview Sagaponack estate recently sold for $10.65 million, according to The Real Estate Report Inc, a discount of 11.2 percent off the $12 million asking price.

The gated 1.8 acres at 515 Parsonage Lane host an 11,760-square-foot traditional built in 2012 with seven bedrooms and 11.5 bathrooms. There’s a double-height living room, a great room and a sawn-oak-paneled library, all of which are bathed in southern light. The gourmet chef’s kitchen is outfitted with Viking appliances, a marble island, a butler’s pantry and a morning breakfast area overlooking an outdoor entertainment area.

The finished lower level has a professional gym with sauna and steam spa, a state-of-the-art home theater and a European wine cellar and tasting room with a custom bar and billiards.

The mature, manicured grounds offer privacy and boast a Viking outdoor kitchen, a brick fireplace and extensive patios. Plus, there’s an oversized, heated, saltwater gunite pool and jacuzzi spa and an all-weather tennis court.

The sellers were Eugene and Susan Kinsella and the new owner is a limited liability company.

The deal closed on January 20. The listing was a co-exclusive represented by sisters Korine M. Konzet of Brown Harris Stevens and Kathy Konzet of Sotheby’s International Realty and Keri Dayton of Sotheby’s.

Also recently sold in Sagaponack Village was 490 Sagg Main Street, aka 490 Sagaponack Main Street, a 2.4-acre lot that was listed for $7.95 million and purchased for $6.5 million. The flag lot had been in agricultural use. It was listed with Enzo Morabito of Douglas Elliman. The sellers were Christoph and Robin Mueller, the owners of Green Hill Kitchen in Greenport, and the new owner is an LLC.

Hamptons Rental Market Remains Alive and Well

To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the demise of the Hamptons summer-rental market are greatly exaggerated. “Any hint that the Hamptons rental market is anything but robust is completely wrong,” said Corcoran associate broker Gary DePersia in East Hampton. An interesting dynamic is stirring in the Hamptons vacation-rental market. Although there has been an unprecedented rise in short-term rentals and the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic linger, it has been a bumper crop year for Wall Street, interest rates have remained steady and a new breed of demanding customer is emerging. Despite it all, the Hamptons vacation-rental market remains as ... 19 Jun 2025 by Joseph Finora
