GuardHill Financial Corp., a Manhattan-based residential mortgage banker and brokerage firm, has opened branches in East Hampton and Southampton, the company announced this week.
Christopher Minardi, an East Hampton native, is heading the branch at 2 Newtown Lane in the village, which has three mortgage specialists. Noah Brown, a longtime Southampton resident who grew up on the East End, is heading the branch at 63 Main Street in Southampton, where he oversees a staff of six mortgage specialists.
Mr. Minardi’s wife, Sarah Minardi, who is a broker at Saunders & Associates, represented GuardHill in securing the East Hampton lease, with Hal Zwick of Town & Country representing the landlord. Ms. Minardi represented the landlord in the Southampton lease, with the Adam Miller Group representing GuardHill.
Each lease is for two years, enabling GuardHill to receive referrals from local Realtors and attorneys and generate repeat clients, as Mr. Brown put it in a release: “A great deal of our clients are people purchasing second homes in the Hamptons, so already having a number of familiar professional resources here enables us to be successful without having to commute to New York City.”
