A modern creekfront home in Bridgehampton sold for $10.2 million at the end of 2020, mid-construction, with the new owners taking up the task of seeing the project through to completion.

Located off Ocean Road at 47 Sams Creek Road, the property is 1.2 acres with 150 feet of water frontage and a private dock for a paddleboard or kayak. By architect Adam Jordan, the planned residence, according to the Douglas Elliman listing, has six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Construction had also begun on a gunite pool and spa. The listing had noted, “The home is being sold in the current stage of development.”

The deal closed on December 21, and the new owner is Metta Hampton Acquisition LLC, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. The new owner could complete and sell the residence for a tidy profit, or hang on to it for rental income or personal use.

Susan Hovdesven had the listing for Douglas Elliman. The last asking price was $13.95 million.
