A brand new waterfront residence in Bridgehampton by Bates Masi + Architects and Breitenbach Builders recently sold with a last asking price of $25 million.

On 2.3 acres at 347 Jobs Lane, the 10,000-square-foot bespoke home with an open floor plan and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass walls has seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and one half-bath.

Much of the first story is open-air living spaces, while two 30-foot trees in the center of the home reach up through the second story, which has views of Mecox Beach and the ocean.

The master suite has two outdoor showers, and the home boasts a yoga deck and an upstairs gym, according to the Corcoran listing. Also among the amenities are a heated gunite pool, a private dock, a tennis court, and covered outdoor entertaining space with a full kitchen. The grounds are landscaped by Marders.

Susan Breitenbach and Cutter Koster of The Corcoran Group had the listing. Tim O’Connor of Brown Harris Stevens brought the buyer.

The second-quarter reports for the Hamptons housing market were packed with good news for sellers. Inventory is down, demand is up — and prices are up, according to a survey of reports from Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Brown Harris Stevens and The Corcoran Group. Each real estate firm uses its own methodology, but the trendlines all pointed toward the same conclusion: The market is strong with demand outpacing inventory even though the frenzy of activity seen last summer amid pandemic fears and the New York State shutdown has stabilized. Wainscott Tenant Fights Ejectment Proceeding Amid Eviction Moratorium

Despite New York State’s eviction moratorium remaining in place through August 31, a tenant in Wainscott faces an ejectment proceeding in State Supreme Court that seeks to immediately remove her and her family from the house she leased, so the landlord can close on its sale by Labor Day. However, the tenant may have every right to remain in the house for another 11 months, regardless of the eviction moratorium. The ... by Brendan J. O’Reilly
