A cedar-shingled new construction traditional with modern interiors just outside East Hampton Village has sold for $6.3 million.
At 4 Palma Terrace, the 3,269-square-foot home is by Abstract Builders of East Hampton. It sits on 0.38 acre and offers five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, a powder room, and a 1,208-square-foot finished lower level.
The open kitchen has quartz countertops, two Cove dishwashers, a Wolf dual-fuel oven and cooktop, a Wolf drawer microwave, a Sub-Zero side-by-side refrigerator/freezer and refrigerator drawers.
Additional home features and details include hardwood floors, a gas fireplace and two laundries. The lower level has a guest bedroom, recreation/TV area, gym and walk-up masonry stairs to the yard.
The home also comes with a two-car detached garage; an 18-foot-by-40-foot gunite pool with an 8-foot-by-8-foot built-in hot tub and an auto-cover; a 200-square-foot pool house with an outdoor shower; and an outdoor kitchen.
Frederick Wallenmaier of Official Partners and Peter Huffine of Corcoran sold the house off-market.
Wallenmaier said the house is located on a quiet street on the fringe of East Hampton Village, yet still walkable to the village.
“Our long-term client wanted a first-floor primary bedroom, new construction with a nice backyard for entertaining,” he said. “In the end, after their search from Southampton to East Hampton, they found that 4 Palma Terrace was the right fit that was offered completely off-market to our client by us.”
The deal closed on May 7, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., which reported the new owners are Susan and Barry Babcock.
