A new modern home on 1.7 acres in Amagansett’s Bell Estate sold in the fall for $7.13 million, The Real Estate Report revealed this week.

The address is 133 Cross Highway to Devon, and the residence is approximately 6,000 square feet, inclusive of the lower level, with six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. The plans also called for a pool and a two-car garage.

According to the listing, the new build “epitomizes a perfect blend of simplicity in design, state-of-the-art technology, and luxurious comfort.”

The open living/dining/kitchen great room has southern exposure and a double-sided Stûv wood-burning fireplace.

The central living space spans the back half of the structure and features custom floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors leading out to bluestone patios, two covered porches, a covered patio off the den, an outdoor kitchen and a heated gunite swimming pool with a sun deck, a 50-foot lap, and a spa.

The Henrybuilt kitchen is architecturally integrated with a Gaggenau cooktop with induction, gas and grill tops, a Miele oven, refrigerator and freezer as well as a wine fridge.

Rounding out the first level are three en suite bedrooms, a mud room, laundry, and the attached oversized heated garage.

The second floor features two primary bedroom suites, each with a private balcony and a walk-in closet.

The lower level includes a gym space and entertainment area, a sauna, a bedroom suite, a second laundry room and ground level access to bluestone patio.

Materials and technologies used include steel construction, engineered 6-foot white oak flooring, a solar energy system, Lutron automated lighting control, and audiovisual systems in all common areas. Other details include custom milled clear cedar siding, center matched clear cedar ceilings inside to outside, floor-to-ceiling Anderson black aluminum windows and doors, a statuary marble countertop and backsplash, Robern medicine cabinets in every bathroom; lighting (interior and exterior): lutron automated home lighting control, WAC trimless recessed lighting and Pentair pool automation.

The property is in a wooded and secluded area near a bay beach, Fresh Pond Park, the Devon Yacht Club and the South Fork Country Club.

William Kuneth and George Fontanals of Brown Harris Stevens represented the listing, and Fontanals is also identified in the deed transfer report as the seller. The new owners are Bayard CHD LLC and Ludlow CHS LLC.
