A Bridgehampton residence that the late renowned architect Norman Jaffe designed and once called home himself has sold for $9.85 million, according to Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

On 1.1 acres at 75 Sams Creek Road, the 4,000-square-foot contemporary was built in 1992 and renovated in 2018. Located just two blocks from the ocean, it has water views from every room, the listing states. That includes five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two living rooms with stone fireplaces, and a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

Outside, there’s a heated gunite pool, a built-in barbecue, and a private dock on Sam’s Creek that offers access to Mecox Bay and the ocean.

Douglas Elliman associate broker William Wolff had the listing, which went on the market last summer for $11.5 million. Terry Cohen of Saunders & Associates brought the buyer.

The seller was Stacey Bronfman, the ex-wife of billionaire Matthew Bronfman.
