A Westhampton Beach estate that was completed in 2008 by Westhampton’s Sea Level Construction has sold for $7.9 million with a last asking price of $8.25 million.

On 1.45 acres at 98 Oneck Road, the postmodern, cedar-shingled residence has six bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms. It has formal living and dining rooms, each with a fireplace, and a chef’s kitchen outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances, two center islands, and a butler’s pantry.

A breakfast area off the kitchen overlooks the manicured grounds, a den includes a bar area and game room, and the residence offers a home office too.

The primary suite features a fireplace, private balcony, sitting room, two bathrooms, and two dressing rooms. The guest bedrooms are ensuite and flexible living space is found in a bonus room and a screened-in porch.

The heated gunite pool and spa are complemented by a pool house with a full bathroom and an outdoor kitchen.

Associate broker Enzo Morabito of Douglas Elliman had the listing.

“A village estate of this caliber does not come to market often, which is why the buyers jumped at the opportunity on the first day it was listed and we had an offer in under a week!” Morabito said. “The quality of the craftsmanship and the meticulous maintenance of the property by our client achieved a record-setting price for a village home.”

The sale closed on September 18, according to Suffolk Vision Inc., which reported the sellers were Geraldine and Louis Scotto and the new owners are Shepard and Anne Poole.
