A Southampton estate in the Parrish Pond neighborhood with water views recently sold for $6.2 million, with a last asking price of $6.75 million.

At 26 Parrish Pond Lane, the property is 1.4 acres with a home built in 2017 by DeVito & Company that offers 9,200 square feet of living space on three levels. With modern style and contemporary architecture, it has seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, one half-bath and top-of-the-line finishes, according to the Douglas Elliman listing.

Among the indoor amenities are a humidity-controlled wine room, an infrared cedar sauna, a gym with glass walls and rubber floors, a meditation room with antique temple doors, and a billiards room. Handcrafted wall trim complemented the white oak floors, marble fireplaces and brass switch plates.

The double-height foyer with a lattice chandelier greets guests and leads into an inviting, light-filled living room.

The state-of-the-art kitchen has high-end Sub-Zero, Bosch and Wolf appliances and custom-lighted cabinetry and 2-inch marble countertops. An oversized island serves as a prep space or gathering spot. A breakfast nook has banquet seating and overlooks the backyard.

The formal dining room with hand-painted wallpaper overlooks Parrish Pond and connects to a butler’s pantry, also with pond views.

The “resort-like” backyard has a 20-foot-by-40-foot heated gunite pool, a yoga platform with a waterfall, an all-glass greenhouse, a fire pit and a Zen-inspired river rock garden and a dining/kitchen pavilion with a custom Italian pizza oven.

Rounding out the west wing of the main level are a two-car garage, a mudroom and a full bathroom. The east wing has a den, with a view of the front landscape, and a powder room. A guest room with a walk-in closet, a bathroom with double vanity and picture windows completes the floor.

The south-facing main suite is on the upper level and offers partial water views, a marble fireplace, a deck overlooking the grounds, two walk-in closets and a bathroom with a glass and marble aromatherapy steam shower, a soaking tub and dual vanities.

Four additional bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms.

The sellers were Gary Giglio and Veronica Ruelas, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. Their 2018 New York Times wedding announcement says Giglio is a partner in Goldman Sachs and Ruelas is an optometric physician. They paid $4.45 million for the property in 2019.

The new owner is 26 Parrish Pond LN LLC. The deal closed September 24.

Thomas Cavallo and Noelle Masini of Douglas Elliman had the listing.

Hamptons Rental Market Remains Alive and Well

To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the demise of the Hamptons summer-rental market are greatly exaggerated. “Any hint that the Hamptons rental market is anything but robust is completely wrong,” said Corcoran associate broker Gary DePersia in East Hampton. An interesting dynamic is stirring in the Hamptons vacation-rental market. Although there has been an unprecedented rise in short-term rentals and the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic linger, it has been a bumper crop year for Wall Street, interest rates have remained steady and a new breed of demanding customer is emerging. Despite it all, the Hamptons vacation-rental market remains as ... 19 Jun 2025 by Joseph Finora
