A postmodern fronting Aspatuck Creek in Quiogue recently sold for $4.8 million after seeking $4.95 million.

At 15 Linden Lane, the home built in 2004 on 0.8 acre has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, plus that den that can be converted into a fifth bedroom.

A open cathedral ceiling living room and dining area adjoin a chef’s kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The first-floor master bedroom has a gar fireplace, water views and marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub.

In addition to the main house, the property hosts a two-bedroom cottage with a large living room, a kitchen and its own washer and dryer.

The Gunite pool is heated, and a retractable awning reached over one of the patios. Other outdoor amenities include a hot tub and a dock.

Margot Jacobs and Linda Zelin of Corcoran had the listing.

“The property is unique as it has a wonderful waterfront two-bedroom cottage that was grandfathered in when seller bought the property,” Jacobs said. “The original house was torn down and the existing house was built, leaving the cottage intact.

“The property is on Aspatuck Creek and from the moment you enter this post modern home, you are staring directly at the water,” she continued. “The entire home, except for one upstairs bedroom, has direct water views. The main floor en-suite master bedroom leads out to the heated Gunite pool, great lawn, cottage and dock, which can accommodate up to a 30-foot boat.

Jacobs also noted that the house is an easy walk into the Village of Westhampton Beach and less than a 10-minute drive to the ocean.

The deal closed on June 22, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., which said the sellers were Lisa and Steven Palamar and the new owner is 15 Linden Lane LLC.
