A contemporary beach house in Quiogue with its own private boathouse on Quantuck Bay sold at the start of the year for $7.31 million.

The address is 541 Main Street, and the 2.1-acre property boasts a shingle-style residence with water views from nearly every room. It has six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and one half-bath.

The first floor includes a grand foyer, a living room with a fireplace, a library with a screened porch, a formal dining room, a high-end kitchen and a staff bedroom and bath. Glass doors open to a deck for entertaining that spans the length of the house.

Take the stairs or ride the elevator up to the second floor where three en suite bedrooms and two master suites with attached offices, radiant-heat bathrooms and private bayview decks are found.

Outside, the amenities continue with a 50-foot-by-20-foot heated Gunite pool, a shared boat slip, and the aforementioned boathouse. The property also includes an attached garage.

The seller was Paula K. Fiedler and the new owners are Marisa and Michael Leister, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. The deal closed on January 11.

Robert Murray, Amanda Murray and Meredith Murray of Corcoran’s Westhampton Beach office had the listing.

Hamptons Rental Market Remains Alive and Well

To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the demise of the Hamptons summer-rental market are greatly exaggerated. “Any hint that the Hamptons rental market is anything but robust is completely wrong,” said Corcoran associate broker Gary DePersia in East Hampton. An interesting dynamic is stirring in the Hamptons vacation-rental market. Although there has been an unprecedented rise in short-term rentals and the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic linger, it has been a bumper crop year for Wall Street, interest rates have remained steady and a new breed of demanding customer is emerging. Despite it all, the Hamptons vacation-rental market remains as ... 19 Jun 2025 by Joseph Finora
