Further east, despite the economic downturn, Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Montauk is growing. The real estate office has recently moved to a larger space and has beefed up its team of agents and brokers by almost 30 percent.
The new 600-square-foot office is located at 752 Montauk Highway, next to Suffolk County Bank and the Plaza Restaurant, and the interior was designed by Bridgehampton-based Stelle Architects.

Saunders & Associates, a Bridgehampton-based brokerage firm headed up by President Andrew Saunders, has joined with Warburg Realty Partnership, a Manhattan-based residential real estate company. The two businesses have formed a strategic alliance to further service buyers and sellers of luxury homes both on the East End and in Manhattan.
Saunders, which specializes in luxury properties, opened its first office last fall on the East End.
