A recovering economy was apparently no match for these East End brokers. Saunders & Associates agents Diane Saatchi, Vince Horcasitas and Terry Cohen were among REAL Trends’ top 250 individual agents in the nation recently recognized for their sales volume, according to a press release by Saunders.

Among individual professionals by total sales volume, Ms. Saatchi was ranked as number 113, Mr. Horcasitas as number 161 and Ms. Cohen as number 163.

“The best individual agents and teams—including the award-winning efforts of Saatchi, Horcasitas and Cohen—were nothing short of phenomenal considering the recovering real estate market,” said Steve Murray, founder of Denver-based publishing and communications company REAL Trends, in a statement.

The REAL Trends list featured four separate categories honoring the top 250 residential agents and agent teams for excellence in individual sales volume; individual transaction sides; team sales volume; and team transaction sides—in each real estate transaction, there are two sides that can be represented by an agent: a buyer’s and a seller’s.

“To have three of my top agents make this prestigious ranking is an incredible honor,” said Andrew Saunders, president and founder of Saunders.

Hamptons Rental Market Remains Alive and Well

To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the demise of the Hamptons summer-rental market are greatly exaggerated. “Any hint that the Hamptons rental market is anything but robust is completely wrong,” said Corcoran associate broker Gary DePersia in East Hampton. An interesting dynamic is stirring in the Hamptons vacation-rental market. Although there has been an unprecedented rise in short-term rentals and the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic linger, it has been a bumper crop year for Wall Street, interest rates have remained steady and a new breed of demanding customer is emerging. Despite it all, the Hamptons vacation-rental market remains as ... 19 Jun 2025 by Joseph Finora
