A Sagaponack Village estate that was built in 2015 sold last month for $12 million, according to The Real Estate Report Inc.

At 68 Hedges Lane, the 2.2-acre gated south-of-the-highway estate was designed by architect Frank Greenwald with an English country meets modern aesthetic and built by Delamere Building Corporation of Bridgehampton. The 8,900-square-foot residence comes with a pool and spa, a pool house and a U.S. Open-style tennis court.

A circular entry stair hall features a sweeping staircase with a hand-waxed mahogany banister. The living room has double-height ceilings, and the library is outfitted with a wet bar. The large gourmet kitchen has professional-grade appliances, a butler’s pantry and a breakfast area, opening into the family room.

The master suite has a sitting room, his-and-hers dressing rooms, and a master deck with a fireplace. A second master is sited on the ground floor and is one of six additional bedrooms. The home also has seven more bathrooms with Calacatta marble and two powder rooms.

Among the amenities are a 600-bottle wine cellar, three places for cleaning laundry, six fireplaces, geothermal heating and central air, an oversized two-car garage, and a radiant-heated snow-melt parking courtyard. The 50-foot heated pool is surrounded by stone and set among the landscaped grounds, and the pool house has a full bathroom and lower level gym.

The estate was co-listed with Lori Schiaffino at Compass and Frank Newbold and Marilyn Clark at Sotheby’s International Realty. Sharon Stern of Sotheby’s International Realty brought the buyer.

The new owners are Marilyn and Michael Glosserman. Mr. Glosserman is a former managing member of The JBG Companies, a real estate investment trust based in Maryland, and is now a board member of its successor company, The JBGSmith REIT. He began his career as a staff attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice before moving into commercial real estate investment and development, according to CoStar Group, an international commercial real estate information and marketing company where he serves as a director. Mr. Glosserman is on the board of directors of the Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation, and Ms. Glosserman is a board member of Us Against Alzheimer’s. Together, they have the Marilyn & Michael Glosserman Community Foundation, which supports educational, media, public policy and arts related organizations.
