What Susan Berkoski brings to the table as an East End real estate agent is a combination of who she is and what she’s done.

Born and raised on the North Fork, she is a farmer’s daughter and granddaughter, an ex-New York City resident and, now, a returnee, homeowner and the newest licensed real estate salesperson at Town & Country Real Estate in Southampton.

“As a native and local, her country heart beats deep, well guided by her city sensibilities,” according to a press release from the firm.

A longtime business-to-business executive outside of the real estate industry, Berkoski worked on Seventh Avenue and within the alcohol industry, responsible for finding brand connections to luxury markets regionally and nationally — creating the connection most times.

For more than a decade, her real estate practice has reflected that sophistication and experience, incorporating world-class branding and market development expertise supported by her deep geographic familiarity and appreciation of the North and South Forks, according to Town & Country.

“Susan believes her greatest strength as a listing agent is branding and positioning,” the release said. “The development of a nuanced marketing plan, best representing the property, and getting it front of the appropriate audience is a promise to be delivered.”

Hamptons Rental Market Remains Alive and Well

To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the demise of the Hamptons summer-rental market are greatly exaggerated. “Any hint that the Hamptons rental market is anything but robust is completely wrong,” said Corcoran associate broker Gary DePersia in East Hampton. An interesting dynamic is stirring in the Hamptons vacation-rental market. Although there has been an unprecedented rise in short-term rentals and the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic linger, it has been a bumper crop year for Wall Street, interest rates have remained steady and a new breed of demanding customer is emerging. Despite it all, the Hamptons vacation-rental market remains as ... 19 Jun 2025 by Joseph Finora
