SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Police were called Friday night after what was described as an “altercation” between a male couple and a group of juveniles, one of whom is said to have called the couple a homophobic slur. One of the men held the youth until police arrived. The youth’s parents were contacted, and the mother came to pick up her son, who apologized to the couple before they left. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Village Police arrested Kherly C. Rivadeneira Juela, 26, of Hampton Bays at about 6 a.m. last Thursday on misdemeanor DWI charges after an officer said he found her sleeping behind the wheel of a 2020 BMW on the side of the road on Main Street, engine off. The officer reported rapping on the window several times, until Rivadeneira Juela woke up. According to police, at that point, Rivadeneira Juela started the engine. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Brent P. Becker, 59, a village resident, was arrested for the second time in seven months Sunday night by Sag Harbor Village Police. When he was originally arrested back in December, he was charged with two felony gun possession counts.
