Rivadeneira Juela, 26, of Hampton Bays at about 6 a.m. last Thursday on misdemeanor DWI charges after an officer said he found her sleeping behind the wheel of a 2020 BMW on the side of the road on Main Street, engine off. The officer reported rapping on the window several times, until Rivadeneira Juela woke up. According to police, at that point, Rivadeneira Juela started the engine. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Sag Harbor Village Police arrested Jeffrey D. Ward, 59, of Sag Harbor on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, namely amphetamine, Friday night. Police had initially received a report of a possible drunk driver in the area of Jermain Avenue and Division Street. The officer sent to investigate reported that he spotted Ward behind the wheel of a 2009 Honda Accord on Jermain Avenue driving east very slowly in the westbound lane. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — A Terry Drive man turned himself in at police headquarters on Division Street on Monday to be processed on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing governmental business. Justin Franks, 40, was also charged by Sag Harbor Police with violating village code regarding noise. According to the report, police had originally encountered Franks around 4 a.m. on Saturday when an officer went to his residence in response to a noise complaint.
