Thomas, 30, of Manorville the night of November 3 on multiple vehicle-related charges, including a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of a forged instrument, namely a license plate. Police said that Thomas was driving a 2008 Dodge suburban on Jermaine Avenue and that the car had a license plate on its rear that had been switched from another vehicle. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Two Sag Harbor men were arrested this past weekend on misdemeanor criminal contempt charges for, Village Police said, violating court orders of protection in two unrelated incidents. Quinn S. Mignott, 39, was arrested on the charge early Saturday morning after a dispute that apparently started in a Main Street bar before Mignott and the person he was with exited the bar, continuing their dispute on Main Street. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Sag Harbor Village Police are investigating a report they received Sunday of a possible burglary at a Grand Street home. The resident of the house had recently died, and his family members were cleaning it out when they discovered that a deadbolt lock on an exterior door had been damaged, apparently by someone forcing their way into the house. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — The Columbus Day weekend nor’easter roiled the waters of Sag Harbor, leaving several vessels anchored in the area in distressed positions. Police logs indicate that beginning at 10 a.m., Columbus Day morning, harbormasters responded to several distressed or misplaced vessels, starting with a 50-foot Hanse yacht discovered beached on the North Haven side of the bridge.
