Born on December 4, 1933, in Riverdale, New York, to John J. Reynolds and Kathryn Downer Reynolds, Ms. Elliot lived a full and wonderful life, recalled survivors, that was made beautiful by her humor, creativity, generosity, friendship, and her love for her family and friends.
She had a zest for life that made everyone want to be around her, they said, and she leaves a legacy of love and friendship.

An accomplished interior designer, she drew great satisfaction from transforming people’s homes through the application of her unique perspective.

They lived in New York City for many years with their children, Babette, John, and Clifford, and spent summers in Southampton and East Hampton. Mrs. Elliott and her children also lived in Millbrook, New York, and later in Key Biscayne, Florida.
