Why does the destruction of the East Wing of the White House make me think of the Talking Heads 1983 song “Burning Down the House”? Because Donald Trump is planning a party?
I don’t think so. It’s because he is a home wrecker. And how much more convincing is demolition? And it’s our house that he is treating that way, and symbolic of a fire.
