Eileen M. Buquicchio died at her home in East Hampton on May 2. She was 88.
Born December 13, 1925, in Manhattan, she was one of eight children of Daniel and Mary Stack. On September 4, 1949, she married Daniel Buquicchio.
A resident of Lindenhurst from the 1950s until moving to East Hampton in 1988, she was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lindenhurst. In East Hampton, she was a member of Most Holy Trinity Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Buquicchio, in 1997.
She is survived by five children, Vincent Buquicchio of East Hampton, Ellen D’Errico of Connecticut, Daniel Buquicchio of Seattle, Thomas Buquicchio of Montauk and Maryann Buquicchio of East Hampton; four grandchildren, Daniel Buquicchio, Marcus Anthony, Eric D’Errico and Michael Buquicchio; and a sister, MaryEllen Zerillo of Syracuse.
A wake was held at Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton on May 6. A funeral Mass took place at Most Holy Trinity Church on May 6; burial was on May 7 at the church cemetery.
