Ethel M. Bevis of Eastport died on July 29. She was 82.

She is survived by a son, Mark Bevis, two daughters, Cheryl Spicer and Carrie Loper, and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on July 31 at Sinnickson’s Moriches Funeral Home, and religious services, officiated by Father Kevin VonGonten, were held on August 1, also at the funeral home. Interment followed at Eastport Cemetery.
