Eunice Pauline Babkiewich of Fort Branch, Indiana, and for the last 30 years of Melbourne Beach, Florida, died on January 28 in the West Melbourne Health and Rehab Center in Melbourne, Florida. She was 94.
Ms. Babkiewich, known to friends and family simply as Pauline, was a seamstress who made clothing alterations in her husband and brother-in-law’s men’s clothing store in Delray Beach, Florida.
Those closest to her recalled she was best known for her Southern-style cooking, her mild manner and gentle wit.
She is survived by her brother, Frank Babkiewich and his wife Marie of Colorado; a sister-in-law, Mary Babkiewich (née Joseph) of Florida; and a brother-in-law, Edward Babkiewich of Florida and Remsenburg.
The family hosted a memorial service on March 7 at the Club House of the A1A Condo Park in Melbourne Beach. Interment followed at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.
