Eveline S. Rodriguez

Eveline S. Rodriguez of Water Mill died on August 31. She was 74.

Born May 12, 1936, in Tyskland, Germany, she immigrated at the age of 12 to the United States, where she lived in Elmhurst. She considered Bridgehampton her home ever since she married and settled there in 1958, even though for the past 36 years she resided in Water Mill.

She is survived by a daughter, Shelly Ramunno of Sag Harbor; four sons, Richard Rodriguez Jr. of Southampton, Robert Rodriguez of Water Mill, Gary Rodriguez and his wife Karen of Manorville and Greg Rodriguez of South Carolina; two sisters and their husbands, Christine and Robert Sweeney of Astoria and Helen Ann Rodriguez and George of New York City; three brothers, Horst Schneider and his wife Pat of New Jersey, Adolph Scheider and his wife Rita of New York City and Frank Schneider of New York City; two grandchildren, Conner and Carlee Rodriguez; two nieces; and a nephew.

She was predeceased by her mother, Ida Freidham, and two brothers, George and Herbert Schneider.

Visitation was held on September 3 at O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Brave Hearts, Saint Francis Hospital, 100 Port Washington Boulevard, Roslyn, NY 11576-1353 would be appreciated by the family.
