What do you think the commander in chief did to commemorate that solemn anniversary? Lay a wreath at the cemetery? Visit with the families of the deceased? Make a phone call? No — he spent the day taping a television show with Jay Leno, about cars.
Then again, this is the same inconsiderate career politician who, instead of standing at attention, couldn’t help but check his watch several times as the caskets were being unloaded from the transport at Joint Base Andrews.
