A memorial service for John “Jack” Austin Powers of New York City and Southampton will be held on Wednesday, June 10, at 4 p.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer, 869 Lexington Avenue, New York City.
Mr. Powers, 82, died on May 23 at his Manhattan home, surrounded by family, after a year of battling myeloma. Arrangements were under the direction of the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Mr. Powers’s endowment, Pain and Palliative Care Service, Attn: Dr. Kathleen M. Foley, at MSKCC, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10021 would be appreciated by the family.
