The John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor will hold its annual budget hearing and trustee forum at the library at 5 p.m. today, Wednesday, September 21. The meeting will also be available via Zoom.
Three candidates are running for library board, including incumbent Michael Garabedian and two newcomers, Robyn Obler and Elliott Stroka. Two incumbents, Robert Weinstein and Michael Butler, are not seeking reelection.
The library is also proposing a total budget of $3,216,932, with a total tax levy of $3,093,732.
Voting takes place at the library from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 29.

The Hampton Library in Bridgehampton will hold its budget and trustee vote from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, at the library.
The library is proposing a total budget of $1,701,352, with a tax levy of $1,652,252.
Two Sagaponack trustees, Thomas White and Sarah Stenn, are seeking reelection. The library board will have three openings for Bridgehampton trustees after the resignations of Sandra Ferguson and Jerome Walker. Olivia Kotz will not seek another term.
