Juanita Lomax Zabriskie Burnett of Quogue died on January 13. She was 89.
According to her family, “she loved her family and was the center of all we did.”
She also loved Quogue, her hats, broaches and especially her lobster and clams from the local seafood market Buoy One in Westhampton, her family noted.
She is survived by her children, Jay Zabriskie, Jeff Zabriskie, Paul Zabriskie and Mack Burnett; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Kaya, Giorgia and Zoë.
Private funeral services were scheduled for January 23 at Quogue Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Quogue Wildlife Refuge (quoguewildliferefuge.org).
