Lena “Lee” MacDougall
Lena “Lee” (Bortolotto) MacDougall of Hampton Bays died on September 17, 2019. She was 88. Born on January 15, 1931, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, she moved to New York City as an adult, and later to Hampton Bays, where she raised her family and resided for most of her life.
In her younger years, she was an avid traveler, football fan and beach lover and was always proud of her Italian and Canadian heritage. She worked in administrative positions in Canada and New York City, and various jobs in Hampton Bays, including Stern’s department store and the Church of St. Rosalie, where she was a parishioner and member of the Catholic Daughters.
Ms. MacDougall will be buried at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, where she will join her parents Antonio and Angela (Beraldo) Bortolotto; siblings, Norma Santucci and Angelo Bortolotto; and niece Barbara Santucci.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church in Hamilton. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the R.J. O’Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
