This past Saturday, the Southampton Garden Club presented “Films of Enchantment: The Legacy of Walt Disney,” its first flower show in five years.
The design and organization of such an event depends on many people—and its resulting success brings joy to many more. We are delighted that the community came to experience the magic of Disney that our hardworking club volunteers created.
We are grateful to this newspaper and Alex Littlefield [Beachcomber, Community, Eastern Edition, July 4] for the coverage that helped us publicize our free-of-charge, open-to-the-public event.
And we are beyond thankful to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for generously lending us the venue for the show—proving yet again how our hospital’s service to the community goes well beyond health care.
