Marie Antoinette Kiembock of East Hampton died on May 19, surrounded by her family. She was 82.
Born on March 1, 1934, in a house on Church Street in East Hampton, Ms. Kiembock was one of 13 children of Antoinette and Preston King. She was a housewife, caretaker, and excellent seamstress and baker, and her home-baked breads and cookies were a delight to all family and friends, especially at Christmas when she baked more than a dozen varieties, starting the process after Thanksgiving to make sure she had enough time.
She married Anton Kiembock Jr. on May 28, 1960; he predeceased her in June 1981. Ms. Kiembock resided in their home on Church Street for 60 years.
She is survived by three sons, James King and wife Debbie of Florida, Ronald King of East Hampton, and Anton Kiembock III and wife Regan of Water Mill; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many friends. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amy King. She leaves behind her cat, Ruby Slippers.
A memorial service will be held on June 20 at Most Holy Trinity Church in East Hampton.
