Mayors for Coburn

We are writing to express our shared support for Rob Coburn as Southampton Village trustee.

During his 35 years here, Rob has served the village quietly and effectively in several important ways. Whether in formal roles as a member of the Board of Architectural Review and Historic Preservation and co-chair of multiple environmental committees, or informally through his stewardship of historic properties and thoughtful communications with village officials as an engaged resident, he has used his knowledge of Southampton’s history, the community, and our code to help make the village better.

Rob’s business experience and academic credentials (Harvard and Wharton) are impressive. But perhaps his strongest attribute is his ability to maintain a spirit of optimism, respect and common purpose in addressing challenges faced by the village.

Like any municipality, Southampton Village benefits when smart and capable people step forward to help lead. We are especially fortunate when someone of Rob’s quality and character does so, and we are proud to endorse him.
