I would like to express my gratitude to former Mayor Michael Irving and former Trustee Kim Allan in regards to their successful efforts on the gas-powered leaf blower legislation — the ban during the summer months.
It is so nice to have peace and quiet from May 15 through September 15. The electric/battery-operated ones are a much cleaner noise solution for a time when there are no leaves falling. This is how this beautiful Southampton Village should be without the unwanted noise.
