Ona Joyce Richards Of Hampton Bays Dies February 10

Ona Joyce Richards of Hampton Bays died February 10, 2019, in Southampton. She was 68.

Known to many as by her middle name, Joyce, she was born on January 8, 1951, in Kingston, Jamaica. She worked in Montauk at Gurney’s Inn, as well as a home health aide assisting many in the Hamptons area.

She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Palms; and is survived by her four children, Michael, Wayne, Carol and Carolyn.

Visitation will be at Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton on Wednesday, February 27, from 10 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 28, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Water Mill.
