Richard A. Holtmann, a longtime resident of Southampton and Highland Beach, Florida, died on August 28 at his Southampton home. A corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II, he was 85.
Mr. Holtmann, a graduate of New York University with a master’s degree in business administration, worked as a comptroller for the Kennecott Copper Corporation in New York City until his retirement.
Visitation was on August 31 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton, where prayer services were held on September 1. Interment followed with full military honors at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton.
