Rita L. Bourke Of Southampton Dies August 15

Rita L. Bourke of Southampton died on Thursday, August 15, at the Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton. She was 86.

Born September 17, 1926, she was the daughter of Thomas Bourke and Mary Staudenmaier, both of whom predeceased her.

Ms. Bourke is survived by a brother, Thomas J. Bourke; and two sisters, Rosemary Miller and Anne O’Brien.

A funeral Mass was said Saturday, August 17, at the Basilica Parish of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton, with Monsignor William Gill officiating. Interment was in Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Southampton, following the service. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton.

Our Sag Harbor park tennis courts are under siege. There are eight clay courts and two hard courts.
