Robert M. Cregan of Wantagh died at the Riverhead Care Center on Wednesday, August 13. He was 73.
Mr. Cregan served in the U.S. Marines and was the grocery manager at Foodfair Supermarket in Jackson Heights prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine M. Cregan of Plainview; a brother, Thomas F. Cregan, and his wife, Eileen, of East Quogue; a nephew, Thomas J. Cregan, and his wife, Nicole, of Hampton Bays; and a niece, Kelly E. Cregan, of Riverhead.
He was predeceased by a brother, the Reverend James G. Cregan.
A wake and funeral service conducted by Father Paul Dahm were held at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on August 15. Interment followed in Calverton National Cemetery.
