The issue of crime and public safety has become front and center in this year’s midterm election. And it’s a relief that we have a congressional candidate with the experience and credentials to successfully tackle it.
Bridget Fleming is a former assistant district attorney who clearly knows the law. Her tough-on-crime stance has earned her the respect of law enforcement. She’s garnered endorsements from the Southampton Town Police Benevolent Association, the Suffolk Country Police Benevolent Association, all the way up to the Police Conference of New York State.
Yet this election is about a lot more than one issue. Bridget will protect the rights of women everywhere to make sure they have the freedom to make their own health care decisions.
She’s committed to protecting Social Security, safeguarding our democracy, strengthening our school systems and building a clean, affordable energy future that protects our environment.
Her common-sense solutions work for all of us in Suffolk County. And on the pocketbook issue of tax relief, she’s keen to make sure we get the considerable tax relief we deserve, by fighting to eliminate the cap on state and local tax (SALT) deductions.
