Susan P. Brogan of Ocean Ridge, Florida, died October 31, 2018, surrounded by her family, in Florida from complications of a stroke. She was 66.
Ms. Brogan was born on April 6, 1952, the daughter of the late Thomas J. Brogan Jr. and the late Patricia Kelly Brogan. She attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York, and graduated from Finch College in 1974. She spent the 70s and 80s working as a translator, photographer, and in publishing before leaving New York City and moving to Ocean Ridge in the early 90s.
She was a longtime summer resident of Southampton, where she was a member of the Bathing Corporation of Southampton.
Survivors said she met the challenges in her life admirably and enjoyed the adventures that she experienced to the fullest. Affectionate and loving, she was loved in return by all who knew her.
Ms. Brogan is survived by her twin sister Kelly Brogan; and her nephew, Nicholas Taylor Brogan.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas More, 65 E. 89th Street, New York City on Wednesday, November 14, at 10:30 a.m.
