Unending Commitment

Gina Arresta has been a resident for more than 30 years in the Village of Southampton, and it is because of her commitment to the village that she loves that she is seeking reelection as village trustee.

In the last two years, Gina has been instrumental in opening Moses Park. A project that had been stalled over the last several years but with her ambition, motivation and drive, the park is finally open.

She has a strong background in finance and has made it her mission to be transparent about the village’s fiscal responsibility implementing budget management software where residents are able to access the budget on the village’s website, and has also reduced the village tax rate for 2022.

As our world continues to change and modern advancements are being made, Gina is at the forefront of making changes while ensuring that we preserve the beauty of our village. Electric charging stations have been installed and LED lights replaced Main Street’s downtown street lamps. Gina’s foresight to moving the village toward environmental sustainability is what has been instilled in her as a child and projects such as these show her unending commitment to make it happen.

Gina is selfless, tireless, community driven and has proven herself to be up to the task of moving our village toward fiscal responsibility, being environmentally friendly and getting the job done, all to better the beautiful village we live in.
